Population aging in China continues to intensify, and during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period,it will officially enter a deeply aging society. At the same time, the average life expectancy of the population in our country is also increasing, and the per capita education level is gradually improving and the health is steadily improving due to technological progress. In this background, our country will actively respond to the aging population as a national strategy. The "Proposals of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-term Goals for 2035" also clearly proposes to support the elderly to actively participate in economic and social activities and continue to create social wealth. The risk is transformed into a "longevity bonus." However, there is still room for improvement in our country’s policy system for helping the elderly to achieve employment. In addition, the younger elderly currently account for the largest proportion of the elderly population, and they are physically and mentally healthier and have more skills in employment. Therefore,it is the first policy to improve to study the factors that affect the employment of the younger elderly and design the path to help them achieve employment.Based on this, this thesis uses active aging theory as the research entry point and core theory, and uses literature research methods, empirical analysis methods, and a combination of theory and practice to study. This article finds and sorts out literature, data and other related materials to understand the current employment situation of the younger elderly in the background of the aging population, selects the 2017 China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS)for data screening and integration to understand the participation status of the younger elderly in employment, and uses Stata 16.0statistical software conducts cross-analysis and Logistic regression to analyze the impact of 15 influencing factors on employment at four levels of individual, family, health and security.Based on this, the research on the realization path of the younger elderly is carried out,and specific promotion strategies are obtained.Through research,it is found that the current younger elderly are relatively more active in employment. At the health level,as the health of the younger elderly declines, the possibility of taking up an occupation decreases; At the security level, the younger elderly who do not participate in the basic pension insurance are more likely to take up an occupation than those who participate, and the younger elderly who participate in business medical insurance, the possibility of taking up an occupation is higher than those without participation.Participation in basic medical insurance and commercial endowment insurance is not significant; At the individual and family level, most independent variables such as gender, age, education level, spouse income, number of children, etc.also show significant correlations.According to these, this article proposes to design the realization path from the three dimensions of encouraging "participation",perfecting "guarantee",and ensuring "health".The specific promotion strategies are as follows: give reasonable policy preferences to companies that hire younger elderly, build an employment service system for the elderly, provide matching job selection channels,do a good job of publicity and guidance, cultivate a positive outlook on the elderly;improve the retirement system, and reduce the employment of the younger elderly job search costs, improve relevant laws and regulations, protect the legal employment rights of the elderly, improve the education system for the elderly, help the younger elderly improve their overall quality;improve the construction of basic public health services, establish psychological assistance centers for the elderly, and encourage employers to do regular physical examinations for the younger elderly. |
