A Study On The Influence Of Clan Organizationgs About Rural Governance

Clan is a grassroots organization of Chinese social groups.It is a civil organization that is the only has a historical heritage and has a complete management system.During the Cultural Revolution,clan organizations once disappeared.Until the 80's,the government gave way to rural governance,making the clan organization gradually become the carrier of folk grassroots culture.The history proves that the existence of clan has its own rationality and existence value,which has an important influence on the state administration and the rural social governance.In the current study of clan issues,scholars focus on the blood and geography from the perspective of geography,and combines static with dynamic of anthropological perspective to observe the clan.The case analysis method is used in this paper.We selects a northeast of Jiangxi clan village,named S,for study that through the political,economic,cultural,social and other aspects of the village to analyze the impact of clan organizations on rural governance.Under the background of the state management system and management ability of modern,through analyzing the role of clan organization in village governance,to understand the relationship between the governance subject and the clan.So we draw a conclusion that,in the process of social transformation,the clan,as an informal organization in rural,is the governance subject,but also the governance object.In addition,it is one of the governance power in rural organizational resources that has the characteristics of activism.Clan organization is composed mainly of human being that have a subjective initiative and able to adapt to social changes timely.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter introduces the concept of clan and rural governance from the background of clan research and summarizes the general research direction,regional characteristics and the general orientation of clan future research.The second chapter analyzes the structural influence of clan on rural governance from the theoretical level.In the third chapter,we choose the case of an ordinary clan village in the northeastern Jiangxi province,and analyze the role played in village S from the political,economic,cultural and social aspects.The fourth chapter is based on the state management system and management ability of modern,analyzing the clan forces and rural social governance in theory and practice of the contrary and the inner integrated point,summarizing three kinds of governance structure:the exclusion of clan management,the absorption of clan management and the integration of clan governance.The fifth chapter discusses the future direction of clan and the benign construction of clan organization in rural governance.
