Study On The Problem Of Home Care For The Elderly In Urban Communities

Entering the 21 st century,China has entered the ranks of an aging society.According to the "Statistical Bulletin of National Economic and Social Development in2018",at the end of 2018,the number of elderly people aged 60 and over in China reached 249 million,accounting for 17.9% of the total population.Judging from the structure of the elderly and the way of living,the population and proportion of the elderly living alone,senior citizens and empty nests are rising rapidly.Therefore,it is of great significance to build a community-based care system for the elderly.This paper selects the Hengfeng County C Community Home Care Service Center as the research object.Through literature review,interviews and questionnaire surveys,it analyzes the main needs of urban community home care services and effective service delivery methods,and builds energy for urban communities in underdeveloped areas.Consider the needs of the home pension for theoretical and practical thinking.This paper believes that although the C-home's home-based care center has established a basic service framework,it has initially provided some elderly people's pension needs and gained some experience,but the service efficiency and cost are high,which is limited by the development of the local tertiary industry.The market-providing capacity of services is very limited,the service system is still not perfect,and the policy support is not enough.In short,the establishment of a home-based care service system that adapts to local economic development to meet the needs of the elderly requires not only the improvement of social welfare policies at the macro level,but also the practical exploration and policy advancement of local governments.
