Study On The Willingness And Influencing Factors Of Mutual Assistance For The Elderly In The Rural Areas Of Shandong Province

With the aging of the population and the continuous outflow of rural labor,more and more empty-nest families have emerged in rural areas.Faced with the severe old-age problem of empty nesters,the model of mutual support and old-age care came into being.This model can meet the material and spiritual needs of the empty nesters.In the context of the increasingly severe empty nesting in rural areas and the weakening of family pensions,Strong realistic foundation and operability have a strong impetus to the improvement and development of rural old-age services.In view of this,this paper takes the elderly in the rural areas of Shandong Province as the research object,and takes the empty nesting elderly people's willingness to support the elderly as the research subject,in order to improve the willingness of the empty nesters to support each other and to improve the mutual support and old-age care model.From the theoretical basis,the basic situation,the willingness to participate,the influencing factors and their associated levels,and the countermeasures and suggestions,the research on mutual support for the elderly in the rural areas of Shandong Province is carried out.The following main conclusions are drawn through analysis:(1)After analyzing and analyzing the results of the survey on the willingness of the elderly to support the elderly in the empty nest,it is found that the empty nesters who are willing to participate in mutual support for the elderly only account for 37.95%,and the relatives who have a certain understanding of mutual support for the elderly account for 38.0%,with 50.97% empty.The elderly in the nest are willing to become pensioners.After understanding,the willingness to participate in mutual support for the elderly has risen to 82.36%.It can be seen that the elderly in the empty nests in rural areas have insufficient understanding of the mutual support and old-age care model,but the situation has been greatly improved after publicity.(2)Based on the data of 361 questionnaires,the binary logistic regression model was firstly used to determine the influencing factors of the participation of elderly empty nesters in mutual assistance for the elderly,and then the ISM model was used to analyze the relationship and structure of each influencing factors.The relationship between each other.The results showed: education level,physical health status,spouse status,annual per capita income of the family,satisfaction of the old-age model,understanding of mutual support for the elderly,whether there is a favorite mutual helper,the status of mutual support institutions,and government and social support.The variables have a significant impact on the willingness of empty nesters to choose mutual support for the elderly.Among them,the satisfaction of the current pension model and whether there is a favorite mutual help object is the direct factor of the surface;the annual per capita income of the family,the mutual understanding of the old-age pension and the status of the mutual-care institution are intermediate indirect factors;physical health status,spouse status,education level,government The situation with social support is a deep root cause.(3)There are problems in the development of mutual assistance and old-age care: single source of economic resources,insufficient capital investment,financial support is difficult to reach;insufficient number of institutions,backward infrastructure,low quality of service,low number of volunteers,lack of scientific management mode;time bank mutual assistance and pension There are still many deficiencies in the model,lack of effective policy guidance,low quality of service,no scientific method of service time recording,unclear time and currency,and low participation of young volunteers.(4)The following basic countermeasures are proposed for the existing problems and influencing factors: Establish a government-supported security system,give play to the grassroots organizations to take the lead in improving the function,improve the function of mutual help and old-age care institutions,increase the participation enthusiasm of empty nesters,and encourage the active participation of social organizations.
