A Research On The Young Pioneer Counselors’ Professional Identity-

The professional identity of the Young Pioneers counselors involves two aspects:self-identity and social identity.It is gradually formed in the specific professional situation by the individual,the occupation itself,the environment and other factors.The professional identity of the Young Pioneer counselors is closely related to the stability of the Young Pioneer counselors team and the work efficiency,and the influence of Young Pioneer counselors’ identity to the development of young children cannot be ignored,so it is of great significance to study the professional identity for Young Pioneer counselors.The thesis is an empirical study on the occupation identity of Young Pioneer counselors.I’ve conducted a sampling survey on the status quo of career identity of Young Pioneer counselors in Fujian province through self-compiled questionnaire and interview outline.Then the data were compared and analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software.The result shows that the level of professional identity of Young Pioneer counselors was not high;there are some significant differences in the dimensions of career cognition,career motivation,occupational environment and occupational prestige among Young Pioneers.Young Pioneer counselors’professional identity were influenced by these demographic variables like gender,teaching age,professional title,school location and so on_The main reasons for this situation include:vague sense of professional role,poor job returns,varieties of social prejudices and so on.To improve Young Pioneers counselors’professional identity level,the paper put forward some suggestions,such as,guarantee of national guidelines and policies,promote the construction of professional team of Young Pioneer counselors,improve the Young Pioneer counselors’ own professional identity and so on.
