Social Support Research On Elderly Caregivers Of Rural Poor Families In Northeast China

With the aging of the population,the development of China's economy has been restricted to some extent.In the northeastern rural areas,as the main distribution area of the elderly population,and there are various problems such as low economic level,poor medical level,and weak social public service ability,the elderly care of the elderly in the region faces certain difficulties and becomes more and more prominent.The public issue raises higher demands for rural pensions.At the same time,in the context of the Chinese government's strategy of “precision poverty alleviation and precision poverty alleviation”,we have found that some of the groups that are more in need of our attention,namely the elderly caregivers of poor families,have become the solution to the problem.The key point is therefore to pay attention to the status quo of rural elderly caregivers' social support as a necessary way to effectively solve the problem of rural old-age care.At present,the existence of poverty,poverty-stricken areas and poverty is the short-term goal of China's goal of achieving a comprehensive well-off society by2020.Therefore,how to solve the problem of poverty alleviation and better stability and poverty alleviation has become the focus of our future work.This paper takes the elderly caregivers of 10 poor families in Village A of Z City as an example to conduct case and interview research,and analyzes the social support provided by elderly caregivers of poor families from the perspectives of government and community.It is pointed out that there are few social support for the elderly caregivers of poor families in Northeast China,and there are some obstacles to the construction of social support system.For example,the investment funds for elderly caregivers are insufficient,the construction of rural pension facilities and elderly caregivers are seriously lagging behind,and there is a lack of rural home care services.The professional talents,as well as the deviation of the rural elderly's understanding of the old-age care institutions,and analyze the reasons for their existence,including the current rural pension forms are still dominated by home-based care,lack of market participation,less public service resources;lack of Targeted policies or measures for the elderly caregiver group;only pay attention to material assistance in the process of assistance,but neglect the imbalance between help and demand caused by spiritual support,and the general backwardness of the rural elderly groups,lack of correct understanding of the marketization of old-age services,etc..In order to give more social support to elderly caregivers of poor families in rural areas,reasonable suggestions are made from the government and community levels,specifically the following:at the government level,legislation to recognize and protect the rights of caregivers,and to establish and improve rural old age Caregiver social support policy,increase government financial support,encourage rural old-age care institutions to play an active role;at the community level,provide alternative care service support,knowledge and skills training for elderly caregivers,coordinate the participation of elderly caregiver family members,and share Its pressure and burden,attention to the psychological support of caregivers,and the establishment of a caregiver support group to encourage the media to playa role in enabling the community to recognize the value of family caregivers,while establishing a team of rural volunteer organizations.The above two measures are conducive to helping elderly caregivers to obtain more social resources,serving the rural old-age care cause,and more conducive to winning the fight against poverty,achieving coordinated development between urban and rural areas,and ultimately achieving common prosperity.
