The Reform Of Social Security System In Czech Republic

China and the Czech Republic belong to the countries with economies in transition,but they have different choices in the development path.The Czechs have chosen a radical reform plan,and China has chosen a gradual development path.Both countries have adopted a social security system that is compatible with the economic system.However,due to the different national conditions of the two countries,different social security systems have been formed.However,the social security systems of the two countries have encountered the same problems in the development process.Such as large pension expenditures,rising medical expenses,and so on.In-depth study of the reform measures of the Czech social security system,the exploration of the basic content and available aspects of the Czech social security system,can provide reference value for the further improvement of China's social security system.Taking Czech national conditions and the historical process of Czech social security system as the starting point,this paper systematically introduces Czech social security system from four aspects: politics,economy,culture and population.Firstly,it outlines the basic contents of Czech social security system from three aspects:social insurance,social assistance and social welfare,and makes a preliminary understanding of them.In the content of social insurance in Czech Republic,we focus on the old-age insurance system and medical insurance system;in the content of social assistance system in Czech Republic,we mainly describe the types of social assistance;in the content of social welfare system in Czech Republic,we focus on the study of the welfare of the elderly and the disabled in Czech Republic.Secondly,on the basis of studying the main content of Czech social security system,the paper summarizes and analyses the problems existing in Czech social security system:unprecedented aggravation of the burden of providing for the aged,serious waste of medical resources,still severe employment situation and excessive social welfare benefits.According to the above problems,corresponding reform measures are put forward respectively: broadening investment channels of funds,reasonably controlling medical expenses and vigorously developing them.Develop small and medium-sized enterprises and subdivide government social responsibility.Finally,on the basis of the above research,this paper puts forward suggestions on improvingChina's social security system from four aspects: pension,medical care,unemployment and social welfare.
