Study On Governments' Responsibilities In The Development Of Bicycle Sharing Industry

As an innovative service method in urban transportation field,shared bicycles provide a new solution to alleviate the pressure of urban traffic and solve the problem of short-distance travel of citizens.However,in rapid development of bicycle sharing industry,some related companies have not really established a sustainable profit model and service users' business goals.They are eager to pursue venture capital,to expand blindly,and to pursue valuations.Negative problems that cannot be ignored,for example,the poor management of bicycle sharing companies leads to the illegal parking of occupied public space,the financial risks brought by the misappropriation of user deposits,etc.Whether these problems can be solved relates deeply to future development of this industry.This paper takes the research of government's responsibility in the development process of bicycle sharing in N city,J Province.It uses the new public management theory and the theory of collaborative governance to analyze the survival status and existing problems of bicycle sharing industry in N city,and points out that there are shortcomings in bicycle sharing supervision.Facing these shortcomings,how to optimize and adjust the service provision mode of Internet enterprises and to promote the healthy development of bicycle sharing industry can be achieved with the help of government.It is necessary for government to strengthen supervision and introduce corresponding industrial policies and rules to guide them correctly.After a short wait-and-see period,the government of N City began to fulfill their government duties to resolve the adverse effects of shared bicycles on public.In the process of government performance,there are still problems such as regulatory gaps and inadequate supervision methods.This paper analyzes the status quo of government's supervision of the bicycle sharing industry,finds government's effective supervision,and establishes a coordinated governance system involving all parties to resolve difficulties,thus promoting the coordinated management of urban travel.
