A Study Of Demonstrative Effect Of Moral Models On Contemporary College Students

In September 2007,the CPC Central Committee issued "the citizen morals construction implement outline",(hereinafter referred to as the outline).It put forward that the outline of socialist moral construction is the important content of developing advanced culture.Emphasis on the construction of legal system and moral construction,combining the rule of law and managing state affairs by ethics and by the deepening and expansion of citizen moral construction,forming action and development of the socialist market economy gradually adapt to the socialist moral system.This emphasizes the importance of civic morality construction.In order to actively respond to the party’s call,since 2007,the central propaganda department,the central government,the people’s liberation army general political department,the national federation of trade unions,communist youth league central committee and the all-china women’s federation has selected national moral models from the hundreds of millions of people for six years.The models use their own action to interpret what is noble moral character,and their work gradually formed the good and virtuous wind of virtue.They play a good demonstration role in guiding the public to promote the citizens’ moral qualities and the improvement of social civilization degree.Xi jin ping,general secretary of the communist party of China(CPC),put forward the following report: "If the young flourish,the country will be flourish.If the young are strong,the country will be strong.If the young generation has the ideal,the ability,and the responsibility,the country will have the future,and the nation will have the hope.As a result,young college students are the backbone of realizing the Chinese dream,and their ideological and moral construction should be more important.This paper was guided by the Marxist Scientific Methodology,lead with socialist core values,adhere to the principle of combining theory with practice,elaborated the concept of moral models,characteristics,as well as the theory basis of selection for moral models and time value;The analysis of this paper demonstrates the effect of moral model on contemporary college students.The problems and causes during the demonstration.And from cognition,emotion,faith,behaviour four aspects put forward several effective suggestions on how to play to the role of the moral model in the demonstration of contemporary college students.They are: improve students to to recognize the deeds of moral models,and to deepen college students emotion recognition of moral models,strengthen the moral character of the merits of college students of moral models,encourage college students to complete the moral models of knowledge transformation.At the same time schools families,and society from all walks of life all held together in the hope of formulating the model as soon as possible by the practice of new moral civilization and harmonious society,for the early realization of socialist modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
