Nanchang city,Jiangxi province is currently at the rapid period of economic development since the new century.Vocational education as the most important part of education systems in China,which aims at training high-skilled talents as their goals.Moreover,the development of vocational education is closely related to the local economy,the high-speed development of vocational education promotes the historical process of the transformation from large population to large human resource in our country.With the development of China’s economy into the new normal mode,the structure of society has constantly transform and upgrade,and vocational education has huge changes basically.The growth of local economy cannot develop well without education,especially vocational education.However,from the perspective of overall,the function of the government has not put good use of its greatest ability,there are some deficiencies in the vocational education,which bring from the behavior of government.Hence,it has a variety of perspectives,methods and approaches to solve these problems of vocational education in government’s behavior.From the sociological perspective to research this topic can get fully understanding of its value,furthermore,this is a valuable attempt to keep the development of vocational education for a long time and fulfill social responsibilities.The paper applies the method of literature,investigation and case study.Firstly,it describes social economy and personnel situation in Nanchang to illustrate the direction and potential for the development of vocational education.Then,it analyzes positive behaviors and defects of Nanchang government in vocational education development,which combined the achievements and problems of Nanchang’s vocational education.At last,it gives suggestions and strategies for the defects of government behavior in the development of vocational education in Nanchang.The first chapter is introduction,which introduces the original purpose and significance of the research,the second chapter is description,it illustrates the related concepts and basic theories of vocational education,the third chapter,it finds out the current situation of the lack of government behavior in vocational education and the analysisof the survey results,which based on questionnaires and interviews by the author.In the fourth chapter,the author gives some suggestions and strategies from the following five aspects: the construction of management system,the cooperation between schools and enterprises,the supervision of policy implementation,and the professional distribution and the faculty builders.
