Research On The Religious Institutions Participating In The Endowment In The Process Of Aging Population

The aging process of population in China is accelerating,and the contradiction between supply and demand of pension services is becoming more and more prominent.In order to cope with the pressure of the social pension,the country encourages the social forces to set up the pension institution and build an all-round and multi-level social pension service system.As the backbone of the religious masses,the old religious believers have special needs for the old-age service.In recent years,from the central government to the local government has issued relevant policy documents to encourage and guide religious to engage in public welfare and charity activities.Under the background of this society,some religious organizations actively participate in the field of pension services,build pension institutions,and explore the practice of pension services.What are the advantages and disadvantages of these institutions with religious background in the process of providing pension services,and how to play the role of religious advantages in solving the pension problems of the elderly believers,to better guide religion to adapt to socialist society has become a subject that needs to be studied.Taking Xiangtan M monastery nursing home as a case study,this paper obtains a large number of first-hand data by means of case study and field research,and describes the situation of Xiangtan M monastery nursing home.it summarizes the advantages and constraints of monastery nursing home participating in pension service.and analyzes the development of the pension service in this nursing home,it is found that the pension service has the advantages of charity tradition is affinity,volunteer resource is rich,basic pension service is characteristic,hospice care is attractive and so on.Under the circumstance that the supply of social pension service is relatively insufficient,the participation of religious institutions in providing for the aged has become a useful supplementary model for the elderly,it can meet the needs of the specific elderly group to a certain extent,relieve the social pension pressure,and promote the social harmony and stability.However currently,religion participating in endowment is still in its infancy,and the relevant policy environment has not been improved,registration is difficult,social cognition is prejudice to it,institutional funding sources are single.Religious participation in endowment also has various disadvantages such as non-standardized,low professional level.In response to these problems and disadvantages,the government should further improve the institutional environment,perfect laws and regulations,relax registration conditions,increase support.at the same time society should be inclusive attitude towards religion,promote religion positively,promote social donation and voluntary service,and create a harmonious social atmosphere.and And through standardization,specialization and other ways to strengthen the construction of institutions themselves,to promote the sustainable development of religious participation in endowment.As a subsystem of society,religion has a strong social affinity,and it has its unique natural advantages.In the process of the rapid development of the aging population in China,the study of the religion participating in endowment,the excavation and the use of the resources of the religious advantage is of great value to the development of the cause of the religion pension service and guide the religion to the socialist society.
