Analysis On The Mode Of Venture Philanthropy In China

Venture philanthropy is a new type of investment vehicle,by the way of public capital investment,which provides money,management,and technical support to public welfare social organizations,to help them to promote their ability of social service and to solve the imbalance between supply and demand of public services effectively.Compared with the experience of European and American practice for more than 20 years,Chinese venture philanthropy is still in the starting period,and the development model is still being explored on the basis of learning from other countries.This thesis reflects the practice of venture philanthropy in Xuanwu district,analyzes and evaluates its implementation,on the basis of combing with the relevant theories and researches of venture philanthropy,and makes my own thoughts and suggestions,then gives advice to the government about how to develop the innovation mode of venture philanthropy in our country.It can be divided into three parts:The introduction part forms the theoretical basis of which introduces the research background,research significance,research summary,research ideas and methods,etc.And it also interpretates the relevant concepts,core elements,basic characteristics and theoretical basis of the paper at home and abroad.The first and second chapters constitute the main part of this thesis,on the basis of briefly analyzing and introducing the development status and modes of venture philanthropy in three typical cities in China(Shanghai,Ningbo and Dongguan),firstly,analyze the current situation of venture philanthropy in Xuanwu district,which introduces the basic situation and practice mode(the mode of social incubator,which cultivates the social organizations and public welfare projects;the mode of social entrepreneurship cooperation,which performances for the graduates entrepreneurship practice competition held by colleges and universities in the domestic;and the mode of supporting the professional social organizations,which simply means the government purchase services),explains the effect of venture philanthropy practice by using empirical analysis,including the influence on the transformation of government functions and the development of the social public welfare,etc.Secondly,starting with some basic properties of venture philanthropy,compare the development in the Europe and the United States,Hong Kong.Analyze the problems and causes in the operation of venture philanthropy in Xuanwu district.This paper discusses the choke points and difficulties in fund raising,evaluation standard and policy advantages of venture philanthropy in Xuanwu district.The third chapter puts forward the conclusion of this paper.Aiming at the problems mentioned above,this paper proposes some suggestions for optimizing the mode of venture philanthropy in Xuanwu district from three aspects of perfecting financing mechanism,optimizing evaluation mechanism and strengthening policy support.In order to promote and replicate the mode of venture philanthropy in Xuanwu district,which can solve the universal problems of Chinese mode of venture philanthropy in the whole country.
