Venture Philanthropy:A Study On The Path Of Innovating Social Organization's Development

With the rapid development of China's social economy,the management of social affairs become more and more complex,and also has a higher requirement on the government's social management ability.As an important participant in social governance,social organization plays a key role in participating in the provision of public services,raising the level of social governance,ensuring and improving the people's livelihood,promoting employment and so on.Besides,social organization can effectively compensate for the low level of social management caused by government failure.However,at least for now,social organization in our country generally faces the lack of resources and organizational capacity.And also,social organization may not have a strong sustainability,and their ability to participate in social governance is limited.As an innovative exploration of cultivating social organizations and enhancing their sustainable development capabilities,Venture Philanthropy,has had different forms of practice in some cities in China and has made great achievements.It is of great practical significance and value to conduct research on the role of Venture Philanthropy in promoting the development of social organization.And exploiting its function in promoting the cultivation and development of social organization and capacity building.This paper takes philanthropy venture practice in Suzhou as an example to summarize its achievements,to analysis its existing problems and causes,and then proposing suggestions,which may improve the sustainability of social organization in China through philanthropy venture practice activities.The basic ideas of the study are as follows.Chapter one defining the relevant concepts of Venture Philanthropy,and the theoretical basis mainly involved in the analysis of this paper,and then providing theoretical support for the analysis of relevantissues.Chapter two analyzing the inevitability of the emergence of Venture Philanthropy based on the practical needs,and analyzing the theoretical origins of Venture Philanthropy and its impact on the construction of social organizational capacity through related theories.Further more,introducing the major model of cultivation and development of social organization by using Venture Philanthropy.Chapter three comparative analyzing the Venture Philanthropy practice between home and abroad,and then,analyzing the main model of Venture Philanthropy in our country based on the practical subject of Venture Philanthropy.Chapter four according to the analysis of Venture Philanthropy's model in our country,to analyzing Venture Philanthropy practice hosted by the Suzhou municipal government,which including the status quo of the development of social organizations in Suzhou,and the achievements made since the launch of Venture Philanthropy.The main content of this chapter is to point out problems and causes in the process of Venture Philanthropy practice in Suzhou.Chapter five based on the above analysis of the status quo and existing problems of Venture Philanthropy,aiming at the specific issues of Venture Philanthropy practice in Suzhou,learning from experience of Venture Philanthropy practice among home and abroad,to imposing specific suggestions for promoting social organization's cultivation and development through Venture Philanthropy.
