In the context of the aging of the rural population, along with the weakening of rural labor transfer and family pension function, the problem of empty nesting in rural areas has become an urgent problem to be solved. In the case that the family is unable to provide old-age care, rural institutional pensions have become an important option for people to support their old age.But what is the current situation of rural development in rural institutions? What is the living condition of the empty nesters in the inside? Can you meet the current needs of people's pension? What are the problems? And how should it develop? All are questions to be explored.Through field interviews and literature research methods, the paper takes the elderly in the old people's homes in W County of Anhui Province as the survey object.Firstly,it analyzes the necessity of rural institutions' pension, and then describes the current situation of the rural institutions' pension development in the surveyed areas. It also analyzes the existing problems and the reasons behind the problems. Finally, according to the actual situation of the surveyed places,it puts forward relevant policy recommendations for promoting the development of rural institutions. The conclusions drawn are as follows: At present, the rural population is seriously aging, the aging rate is accelerating, and the elderly people with empty sump have weak self-care ability.Under the background that the rural labor force has been transferred a lot and the family pension function is weakened, most of the elderly are forced to become “empty nesters”.Institutional pension has become an important option for people. Some rural empty nesters have no longer adhered to the traditional family pension system.Instead, they choose institutions to support the elderly, and the institutional pension needs are strong. It is necessary to develop institutional pensions.Through the analysis of the status quo of old-age care in W County elderly hospitals in Anhui Province,it is found that most of the elderly in the old people's homes in the county are out of work or study because their children are out of school. They are old and have no self-care,so they are sent to the nursing home by their children.Theempty nesting old man from the middle of the year, when the children return home after the holiday, they will live for a while. In the life of the nursing home, you can get more comprehensive care, but lack of entertainment, the old people are very empty in spirit. At the same time, living with the children after returning home is a long-awaited life for the old people, but it does not give the old people a comfortable care.At present, institutional pensions have problems such as insufficient supply, shortage of funds, single source, low professional level of service, and disconnection between life and family life in the elderly. In response to the actual situation in the area, the article makes recommendations from three aspects.By increasing the number of pensions in institutions such as nursing homes, increasing the content of institutional pension services, and increasing the amount of funds for institutional pensions by increasing the funds for pensions in institutions such as nursing homes;training for existing institutions' aged care workers and training for aged care institutions And the transportation of professional talents,as well as the grading of the old-age care institutions,to enhance the professional level of the aged care institutions;in the promotion, through publicity, strengthen the awareness of rural residents in the care of the elderly,so that people choose more institutions to support the elderly,And promote the filial piety culture,so that the lives of the empty nesters are getting more attention from their children.
