Study On The Social Adaptation Of The Elderly In The Institutions Of Old-age Care For The First Time

The aging of the population makes it difficult for the traditional family old-age care to fully adapt to the requirements of today's society.The new old-age care mode drives the industrialization of old-age care,and the number of old-age care service institutions increases significantly.From a macro perspective,the new endowment mode is helpful to solve the problem of "time",but the elderly as the body of the pension,they can well fit in with the transformation from the family to institutions,as well as in the process of this shift their feelings and social adaptation of the problem may come up,is a very important part of the institution endowment development process.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among all the 7 nursing institutions in Y city,Shanxi Province,among the old people who stayed in these institutions for 0-3months.A total of 105 questionnaires were collected.Through the questionnaire survey,the author clarified the cognition of the social adaptation status of the elderly people who are newly admitted to the old-age care institutions.Secondly,based on the questionnaire data,the social maladjustment of the old man to screen out,and the social adaptation problem more serious 21 people without structure interviews and participatory observation,interview and observation records according to the elderly,from three aspects: individual,environment and family made analysis on the influencing factors of social adaptation,specific include: the individual level: environment change brings pressure,aging,at will,individual personality development,growth experience,self cognitive biases,individual differences;Ii.Environmental level: familiarity with the environment,institutional rules and regulations,and single types of institutional activities;Iii.Family level: role expectation,children's cognitive deviation on pension responsibility,neglect and helplessness of family members and institutions.Finally,I selected one of the institutions for the aged and conducted social work intervention for the elderly with social maladjustment in the institution by using the method of group work,and carried out a total of 5 group activities.This study attempts to adopt the research methods from the elderly themselves do some supplement for institution endowment of microcosmic research field,the elderly as the research object and be able to adapt to society to some extent research areas have rich effect,and to explore how social work more accurately and effectively in the social adaptation of old people living institutions provide certain reference.
