| With accelerating urbanization, more and more elderly people join the ranks of the floating population. They leave their homeland where they have lived for many years and move to unfamiliar cities to live with their children. Therefore, this group is widely known as “Relocate the elderly”.In view of the large difference in spatial attributes between the place of emigration and the place of emigration, when the elderly with migrants are faced with drastic spatial changes, their current living places have different adaptability problems. If they can’t solve their problems in time The adaptive dilemma will bring huge risks and challenges to real life. Therefore,it is the research value of this article to improve the quality of the space, improve the adaptability of the elderly with migrants, and make their living with migrants high-quality and sustainable. This paper selects a residential community in Shibei District of Qingdao City as the survey point. There are a considerable number of accompanying families in this community. The snowball sampling method is adopted.15 elderly accompanying migrants are selected as the survey objects.Semi-structured interviews and observation methods are used.Collect data and take the impact of spatial changes on the social adaptation of the elderly with migrants as the core content of the research.Facts have proved that although the elderly in these families have completed their spatial migration in different places for some time, these spatial subjects still retain their historical spatial habits, which are spatially misplaced with their current residence, which hinders them to a certain extent.Adapt to the new space environment. This research mainly starts from the perspective of spatial change.First,it describes the social adaptation status of the elderly who have undergone spatial changes in their current residence, and operatively translates social adaptation into four aspects: daily life adaptation, social communication adaptation, economic adaptation and psychological adaptation.Dimension.Then the current residence space is embodied into physical space, social interaction space, institutional space and cultural symbol space, and specifically analyzes the mechanism of the impact of spatial changes on the social adaptation of elderly people who move with them. The study found that despite the differences in the social adaptation status of the migrants living in the D community,in the context of spatial change, they have adaptability difficulties in life, social interaction, economy, and psychology.Part of these difficulties are Directly affected by the four dimensions of spatial changes, the other part is the result of the alienation of the adaptation strategies adopted by the elderly to cope with the spatial changes, that is,the indirect effects of the spatial changes. These impacts will bring huge risks and challenges to the life discomfort of the elderly with migrants, reflecting three aspects: personal risks, family risks and social risks. Therefore,it is particularly important to provide improvement paths of different spatial dimensions in order to optimize the current living space of the elderly with migration and help the elderly live with the migration. |
