Disabled girls at the school age are special groups at the margin of society.Ensuring the right to compulsory education for these girls is the main way to improve their quality and achieve their self-worth.In recent years,China attaches great importance to the compulsory education resettlement ensuring boys and girls with disabilities at the school age.With the continuous improvement and implementation of relevant education laws and policies,the development of education for these girls has been significantly improved.However,comparing the compulsory education situation of boys and girls with disabilities,it is found that there is gender inequality in the education of disabled children,and the education status of girls with disabilities is not ideal.Therefore,it is of great significance to study in depth the educational security for disabled girls at the school age to improve the situations of girls and achieve social harmony.This paper focuses on the educational security of disabled girls at the school age,the basis of defining relevant concepts and theories,the empirical study on education status of school-age disabled girls in N city of Hunan province was carried out.In the analysis of the current situation,the paper introduces the basic situation in N city,and the current education situation of disabled children,current status of government and school and family and society education security for school-age disabled girls,as well as the education demand of disabled girls at the school age.According to the data ofquestionnaires and interviews,this paper analyzed the problems about educational security work of these girls in N city.There are problems such as insufficient government's educational security and the school education,and the relatively weak family and society's education support.The main factors affecting compulsory education for disabled girls at school age are also analyzed from dual biases of gender and disability,guardian's cultural quality and economic status,disabled girls themselves.Some suggestions are put forward to improve the educational security of these girls,including the government's improvement of relevant laws and regulations on the educational security and increasing investment in various educational resources;the school's creation of a gender-equitable educational environment and improving the quality of education for disabled girls;and families changing the traditional concept of education expectations of different genders and focusing on the educational effect of disabled girls;the society vigorously disseminating the concept of gender equality education for disabled children,and making the community and other social agencies develop education for disabled girls.These suggestions will pay people's attention to the education of disabled girls at the school age,and then solve these problems.
