Research On The Improvement Of Mental Health Service Of Liaoning Border Defence Force

For a long time,as a law enforcement attaching to Chinese Armed Police Force,BorderDefence Force is a special community that burdens the task of protecting the coastal defense and maintaining the public order.Therefore,the daily strict discipline and the increasingly complicated environment of law enforcement lead to an increasing number of psychological problems such as anxiety,depression,compulsion,irritability and other psychological problems.Meanwhile,with the coming of the new era and the deepening of the executive reformation,great changes have taken place in the social environment and historical mission of Border Defence Force.As so far,a sweeping reform has been confirmed that the Border Defence Force will be divided to several parts but there is no specific scheme how the transformation goes,thus resulting in tons of sever anxiety and confusion among the functionaries.Hence,in-depth research in promoting mental health service makes significant sense to maintain the internal stability and improve the executive reformation.Based on the collection and analysis of previous relevant studies and literatures,this paper took functionaries of Liaoning Border Defence Force as main subject to analyse the troop's psychologic status and the progress of mental health service from different aspects adopting the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research.In the interview session,this paper picks up 30 representative providers and receivers to understand the general situation and improvement;In the questionnaire session,with 343 questionnaires available from Wenjuanxing internet platform,this paper reached statistical analysis by SPSS software for date quantitative analysis.The result shows: generally speaking,the psychological status of Liaoning Border Defence Force is under sub-health condition,but on the whole it still belongs to a benign and controllable range,which indicates a fast growth in demand of mental health service.Despite the achievement,however,there is still much room for improvement in overall level and quality construction of the mental health service,such as,undiversified contents and forms?low awareness and identity and insufficient continuity of work.To solve the problems,On the basis of psychological health theory and positive psychology theory,we come up with the forward-looking and feasible countermeasures in both macroscopic and microscopicperspectives in order to provide theoretical support for the healthy development and internal security and stability of the troops during the historic transitional period of reform.
