Study On The Change Of Characteristic Function And Future Development Of Zhaojun Town In Xingshan County, Hubei Province

Zhaojun Town,the hometown of the famous Princess of the Western Han Dynasty,Zhaojun Town,is a town with profound cultural heritage.In 1991,in response to the national Three Gorges Project strategy,Zhaojun Town began its transformation and reconstruction work for decades.In 2011,Zhaojun Town completed the relocation and reconstruction work in an all-round way.In 2013,it was listed on the list of new urbanization pilot towns in Yichang City and international tourism towns in Hubei Province.In 2017,it was listed as the second batch of Characteristic Towns in China,and began to excavate Zhaojun culture and build Wenlu characteristic towns.The construction of characteristic towns is a strategic measure for the transformation and upgrading of China's economy.This paper starts with three renaming of Zhaojun Town since the reform and opening up,investigates the process of Zhaojun Town's relocation and reconstruction and the functional orientation of Zhaojun Town in the development of Xingshan County in the new era,and looks forward to the future development of Zhaojun Town,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions based on the analysis of problems and reasons.Firstly,this paper analyses the characteristic changes of Zhaojun Town in three different periods(the initial stage of reform and opening up,the period of migration and entering a new era)under the guidance of national strategy,in order to demonstrate the relationship between urbanization construction and governance modernization.On this basis,the future construction of new urbanization in Zhaojun Town is prospected,the problems in the process of construction of Characteristic Towns in Zhaojun Town are analyzed,the root causes of the problems are analyzed and the corresponding suggestions are put forward.Zhaojun Town in Xingshan County,as the revival and inheritor of Zhaojun Culture,is carrying out ecological protection and developing characteristic economy.It is making great efforts to build tourist destinations and distribution centers of Zhaojun Culture,inheriting and exploring Zhaojun Spirit.However,in the construction process of small towns with cultural and tourism characteristics,there are still some problems,such as lack of infrastructure funds,weak competitiveness in the tourism market,lack of tourism professionals and so on.Through field investigation and theoretical analysis,this paper points out that the main reasons for the problems are the lagging strategic concept of tourism industry development,imperfect tourism infrastructure,inadequate construction model of small towns with government-led characteristics,and imperfect government public services.It also points out that the main reasons are to improve the level of government public services,straighten out the relationship between government and market,make scientific industrial planning and focus on the whole area.Policy suggestions are put forward in tourism and other aspects.
