Revolution And Construction:The Formation Of Mao Zedong's Medical And Health Thoughts

The development of Mao Zedong's medical and health undertakings has undergone a process from scratch to weakness.In the early days of new democracy,due to the backwardness of economy and culture in most parts of China,people's attention to medical and health care was not high,and there was a general lack of common sense.However,in the special revolutionary war era,the development of medical and health care is related to the future and destiny of the country.China's poor and weak medical and health undertakings have given the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party a deep understanding of the importance of developing medical and health care.Therefore,in summing up the experiences of Marx,Engels and Lenin on the development of health care in socialist countries and leading the Chinese revolution and construction,the Chinese Communist Party's medical and health undertakings have undergone a process of perfection and have formed Chinese characteristics.The socialist health thoughts that condensed the collective wisdom of the first generation of leaders of the Communist Party of China,namely Mao Zedong's medical and health thinking.This paper intends to systematically sort out and comprehensively discuss the practical application of Mao Zedong's medical and health thinking.First of all,the theoretical origins of Mao Zedong's medical and health thoughts are discussed in detail from three aspects.That is to say,Marx and Engels' ideas on the construction of medical and health care in socialist countries,Lenin's practice on Russian health construction,and the role of Chinese traditional culture,and analyze its impact on the formation of Mao Zedong's health care.Secondly,it discusses the practice of Mao Zedong's medical and health thoughts in the Central Soviet Area and Yan'an Period.As a direct source of practice for Mao Zedong's medical and health thinking,especially the stable partial governance of the Yan'an period for 13 years,it provided a favorable environment for the development of medical and health thinking.Mao Zedong's medical and health thoughts have been greatly developed during this period.Mature medical care effectively supported the war of resistance and stabilized the rear of the war.Finally,with the three major guidelines for health work in New China,namely prevention,unity of Chinese and Western medicine,and work-oriented peasants and soldiers,the rich connotation of Mao Zedong's medical and health thinking and its practice in the country are summarized.Under the new historical conditions,the medical and health undertakings are related to thousands of households and are a major livelihood issue.In-depth study of Mao Zedong's medical and health thinking will not only help deepen and broaden the research scope of Mao Zedong Thought,but more importantly,it can be used as a reference to improve and strengthen China's current medical and health work,and provide an important reference for the current medical system reform.Significance,and gradually form a medical and health management system with Chinese characteristics.
