With the advent of the media and information society,media literacy is becoming a fundamental quality for every citizen.As a society manager,grassroots government staff and the public have the widest range of connection of information and emotions.Their media literacy has a profound influence on the government's ability to govern,to guide public opinion,and the image of government in the new era.This thesis proposes the three levels of senses of government staff's media literacy,namely,the general media literacy as a citizen,the professional media literacy as a government information disseminator,and the dialogue and communication ability as a general manager.Combining these three major content literacy frameworks,this thesis starts with the surveying framework of media cognition,media contact,media usage and media criticism,and conducts a questionnaire survey on the media literacy of grassroots government staff.Through the survey from over 700 grassroots government staff in Gansu Province,the author found that the general media literacy of grassroots government workers has improved significantly than before.The professional media literacy has been paid more and more attention.The ability of conversation and communication is now representing the new media literacy for government staff in the Internet era.On these bases,the author gives a brief suggestion on the promotion of media literacy of grassroots government workers. |
