Study On The Judge Selection System In China

Building a socialist country ruled by law is a long-standing goal and ideal of China's judicial undertakings.However,the core of building a qualified socialist country ruled by law is to have a team of judges with high level and quality,with national interests as the top priority,and with the maintenance of the legal system as their responsibility.Therefore,the improvement of the judge selection system is not only an important part of China's legal system,but also the cornerstone of China's legal personnel training system.Reasonable and legitimate judge selection system can effectively improve the professional quality of our country's judge team,promote the further development and growth of the judge team,and contribute to the realization of the great ideal of socialist legal country.The reform and construction of a scientific and rigorous judge selection system is the primary demand for deepening the reform of the judicial system in China.It is one of the effective ways to realize a country ruled by law and the basic requirement for implementing the socialist core value system.The selection system of judges mainly consists of two levels:qualification and selection procedure.Based on the basic theory of the selection of judges,through the comparison of the system of the selection of judges between China and other countries in various forms of international society,this paper summarizes the experience,explores unceasingly,searches for the perfect methods and corresponding strategies and mechanisms that match the basic socialist system of our country and our national conditions.The paper is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction;the second part introduces the composition,characteristics,functions and significance of the judge selection system;the third part analyses the current situation and existing shortcomings of the judge selection system in our country;the fourth part analyses and compares the judge selection system in different countries of the international community for reference;the fifth part introduces the shortcomings of the judge selection system in our country.Start from everywhere and put forward practical and effective suggestions.
