The Present Situation And Countermeasures Study Of The Information Dissemination Of The Township(Town) Government In Western China

The information dissemination is an important force for social change and plays an important role in promoting rural modernization and economic development.Limited by the level of economic development,the means of information dissemination are relatively backward in the vast rural areas of western China,which directly affect the development of rural modernization.Therefore,it is of great significance to study rural communication and propose perfect rural information dissemination strategies for improving rural governance capacity and promoting rural economic development.With the development of social economy,the information dissemination in rural areas of western China has undergone significant changes.For example,the mode of communication is constantly updated and the content of communication is gradually enriched,etc.But there are still many problems,including the small amount of information transmission,blocked communication channels and unsatisfactory communication effects.Futian Township in Jianyang City is affiliated to the capital city of Sichuan Province----Chengdu which is the new first-tier city.It`s close to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.Its advantageous geographical location brings many advantages to the economic and cultural development of this region,but Futian township's overall information dissemination level is far behind the level of social and economic development in the region.The situation of rural information dissemination largely depends on the information dissemination behavior of the main body of communication--the township government.The investigation found that the Futian Township Government has many problems in the process of disseminating information,such as the small amount of information,the imbalanced information type,the low degree of localization of information content and the phenomenon of information faults.Based on these,this research intends to use the questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and case study method in combination with the agenda-setting theory,usage and satisfaction theory and Gatekeeper theory to analyze the information dissemination situation of Futian Township Government.Why do these problems exist in Futian Township Government on Information Communication? How to solve it effectively?Results show that the factors affect the information dissemination of Futian Township Government including communication subject,communication content,communication channels,audience and other transmission elements.Therefore,the main measures to improve the current situation and its spread level are: Strengthen the consciousness of the township government.Meet the needs of the audience and disseminate the information needed by the audience.Perfect various communication channels and improve the utilization rate of new media.And establish a sound grass-roots information dissemination system.Based on the case study of the information dissemination of Futian Township Government,this study puts forward the strategies to improve the information dissemination of rural township(town)government in western China.
