Research On The Improvement Of Government Governance Capability In Baiyin City

Local government as a basic unit at all levels of the country is an important part of the national administrative system.Its merits and demerits have a direct impact on the country’s overall governance and the realization of the dream of building a strong socialist country.Improving the governance environment of local governments and enhancing the governance capabilities of local governments will help promote the overall strategic goals of modernizing the governance system and governance capabilities of the country.This paper uses the literature research method and empirical analysis method to research and analyze Baiyin’s government governance ability.Through coefficient of variation method and principal component analysis method,the five major government governance fields such as political governance,economic governance,social governance,cultural governance,and ecological governance were extracted,and the weights of the entire system were calculated.Based on the theory of good governance theory and public management theory,based on the actual situation of Baiyin City,a set of evaluation index system for governance ability of Baiyin municipal government was constructed,and the coefficient of variation of each index was used as a basis for evaluating Baiyin’s government governance ability.To find out the problems existing in the governance of the Baiyin municipal government and put forward feasible countermeasures as a reference for improving the governance ability of the Baiyin municipal government.The scientific conclusions of its empirical analysis have the ability to improve the governance capabilities of various local governments in Gansu Province.Certain guiding significance and reference value.
