Public Opinion Guidance On Public Crisis In The New Media Era

At present,our country is in the deep-water area of reform,all kinds of social contradictions highlight,can be said to face a crisis-prone era.After the occurrence of public crisis,it has brought many injuries and losses to the people,even the whole society and the country,threatening the national security,social stability and people's daily life.Therefore,both the government and academia attach great importance to the public crisis.The advent of the new media era has brought both opportunities and challenges to the public opinion guidance of public crisis incidents.Therefore,this paper studies the public opinion guidance of public crisis events in the new media era,and takes the "8.12" Tianjin Port bombing as an example to analyze the typical incident,in order to put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the level of public opinion guidance of public crisis events in the new media era.Guided by image restoration theory,agenda setting theory,silence spiral theory and crisis management theory,this paper makes a systematic study on public opinion guidance of public crisis events in the new media era by using literature analysis,case analysis and interdisciplinary analysis.Firstly,this paper summarizes the related concepts and theories of new media,public crisis events,public opinion guidance and so on,which lays the foundation for the following research.Secondly,it makes a dialectical analysis of the development of new media and the relationship among new media,public crisis events and public opinion,and analyzes the influence of public opinion guidance on public crisis events in the new media era.Thirdly,the article reviews the "8.12" Tianjin Port bombing,and probes into the problems and causes of public opinion guidance in the new media era.Finally,under the guidance of image restoration theory,combined with the case analysis of the "8.12" Tianjin Port bombing incident,in view of the problems and causes of public opinion guidance in the new media era,this paper puts forward the strategy of public opinion guidance from five aspects: ideology,mechanism,organization and personnel,rehabilitation and law.
