Research On Urban Road Traffic Management In Wenzhou

Urban road traffic management refers to the administrative department's supervision and management of traffic activities and traffic elements through administrative means according to laws and regulations,etc.It is an important function of government public management.At this stage,China's economy is growing at a high speed,the urbanization process continues to accelerate,and more and more people are gathering in the city to live,but it has also triggered many “urban diseases”,the people's growing travel demand and backward urban transport services.The contradiction between them has become increasingly fierce,and traffic management has become the focus of attention of urban residents,local governments and the whole society.As a frontier city in the eastern coastal economic development,Wenzhou City also faces traffic management problems.The number of cars per 100 households in the urban area ranks first in the province,but the per capita road area is the last.The urban residents have traffic conditions.Satisfaction is generally not high,and the time spent on the way to and from work is increasing.Therefore,the Wenzhou Municipal Government urgently needs to study the exposed traffic management issues and make policy measures to ensure the sustainable development of the urban economy and improve the happiness index of urban residents.This paper uses the combination of theory and practice,using literature analysis method,empirical research method,combined with public management knowledge,to analyze the status quo,problems and causes of urban road traffic management in Wenzhou.Through research,Wenzhou City urban road traffic management has problems such as traffic congestion,lag of public transportation facilities,insufficient supply of parking berths,frequent traffic violations,etc.,which are problem-oriented,and further analyze the causes of these problems because of imbalance between supply and demand.Including the rapid expansion of residents' demand,the lag of road construction,insufficient investment in supporting facilities,insufficient police equipment,and inadequate government management models,including delayed transportation planning,imperfect traffic management system,and inadequate citizen participation mechanism;urban road traffic management legislation is imperfect and Law enforcement is not in place,including lack of supporting regulations for laws and regulations,lack of scientificity in some traffic control regulations,and weak enforcement of public security traffic police;lack of publicity and education on urban road traffic safety,including insufficient attention of the competent authorities and poor publicity and education.According to the theory of traffic demand management and public services,it is proposed to improve the hard supply of road traffic,improve road network management,develop public transportation,implement transportation facilities and preferential treatment of law enforcement personnel;promote government management model reform,establish long-term planning and improve management Institutions and sound citizen participation mechanisms;standardize urban road traffic management rule of law system,improve law enforcement system,change law enforcement methods,and enhance traffic management law enforcement;strengthen urban road traffic management publicity and education,strengthen departmental attention,improve publicity methods,and various measures In order to solve the existing problems,we must build the road of future road traffic development,ensure the scientific management,and seek the road traffic management mode that is conducive to the long-term stable development of Wenzhou.
