Study On Wujiang District,Suzhou City Road Traffic Management Model

Road traffic as the artery of urban development plays a very important role in promoting economic and social development,changing urban form and scale,improving urban residents' travel demand and so on.With the rapid development of social economy,there has been a dramatic growth in the number of cars in some small to medium-sized cities.As a result,the pressure on traffic has been increased,leading to more traffic jams during the rush hours on holidays.In addition,the fast development of the city and the service industry,along with a lot of other factors together,resulted in the high density of the population and cars,making the city streets overloaded.Wujiang is a highly developed economy of country city,in recent years due to the integration of the main city of Suzhou and the acceleration of the integration process of the town,the road traffic situation changes rapidly.Road traffic management also faces challenges.This paper based on the theory of traffic demand management and the theory of sustainable development,starting from the concept of urban traffic management,traffic management mode to categorize the policies related to the reform of city street management and make the analysis about the necessity of strengthening the road traffic management.Taking the road traffic management mode of Wujiang as a case to make a deeper research.Through the analysis of complex traffic management in Wujiang,this paper puts forward some methods and counter measures to solve the problems,and try our best to proposes a new model for the development of road traffic management in the future.
