Study On Preventive Measures Of Pedestrian Traffic Accidents On Expressway-Take Chongqing Expressway Pedestrian Traffic Accident As An Example

As the Chinese expressway has experienced rapid expansion,the case of pedestrian illegally entering expressway and coursing traffic accident are increasing.Set Chongqing expressway as an example,pedestrian accidents has taken up 37% of expressway traffic accidents during 2015 to 2017.Governing and preventing those accidents is an important issue.This dissertation analyzes plenty of traffic accident data,especially under the perceptive of victim,highway condition,time of accident happening,weather,traffic flow,accident liability determination and accidental compensation.By analyzing those accident characteristics,we could work out the reason of why pedestrian expressway accidents happen.Then,by reviewing the existing provisions of administration,we try to find the vulnerability of them.Based on the above analysis,this dissertation try to come up with practical and effective measures to prevent and reduce expressway traffic accidents of pedestrian.
