Mental Retardation refers to those congenital brain hypoplasia or brain damage,resulting in many aspects of children's IQ,psychology,language,physiology and ot her obstacles.MR means that individuals have substantial defects in intelligence and adaptive behavior,and do not have the abilities that they should have at the same age,and this state will not disappear in a short period of time.Although many people with mental retardation can make great progress in adaptive behavior,most of them will still be affected by mental retardation for life.Many children with mental disabilities cannot be identified until they enter school,and some of them have already gone to ordinary schools and found that they cannot complete normal academic tasks before being discovered.Most children with mild mental retardation can master some basic academic knowledge,can communicate with others normally,and can live independently.In this paper,group work methods are used to organize group activities to improve the basic interpersonal skills and communication and cooperation abilities of children with mild mental retardation.Through choosing 6 mild mental retardation children as the service objects in A city disabled secondary vocational school where the author of this paper practiced,the author used group activities to explore the feasible methods for group work to intervene in the interpersonal communication problems of mild mental retardation children,and tried to find specific implementation methods to improve the interpersonal communication of mild mental retardation children.
