Analysis And Proposals On The Development Of Interpersonal Communication Skills In Young Pioneer's Group

Interpersonal communication skills(ICS)are of great importance to children's healthy growth.ICS constitute a necessary way for their future socialization.However,four trends today work to it's disadvantage:decline of birth rate after years of application of family planning,change of living environment brought by the accelerating urbanization,decrease of necessary teaching from parents haunted by professional pressure,and evolution in forms of human contact in new media age.Due to the trends above,our children's contacts with others lessen,and their face-to-face communication ability declines.This could create afterwards series of psychological and behavior problems in children's growth process.It is the reason why the development of children's ICS is too important to be neglected.Young Pioneer(YP)training is a characteristic in our country's school education for children.And the GROUP is the primary organization of YP.The activities conducted by a YP group can play a special role in development of it's members' ICS,through the method called collectivism against autism,and many other educational functions.This thesis is aimed at studying on effective ways of education within a YP group,from the angle of children's ICS development.Firstly,I will make clear the connotation of ICS and YP group activities,through arrangement and analysis of related documentation.Secondly,I will conduct research on children admitted by 4 means in different schools of Zone A in Xiamen,including interviews to school teachers and child parents,and basing on practical cases study,make analysis of the status of children's ICS so as the causes of problems concerning ICS development.Then,I will exam the potential advantages of YP group activities in the development of children's ICS.Emphasis will be put on the special role of 5 different kinds of YP group activities in children's capacity-building,in order to prove the feasibility and specific advantages of these activities.Next,I will look into the defective side of actual YP group activities.And aiming at it,I will put forward,at the end of the thesis,several proposals to strengthen the functions of YP group activities in terms of children's ICS development.This study on educational functions of YP group activities from the angle of children's ICS development,will try not only to serve as useful decision-making support,in favor of all-round development of our children,but also to advance the building of YP organizations,providing a reference for the YP work in new era.However,there are up to now not many studies on the educational functions of YP group activities,and it is quite complicated to establish all the influential factors in the ICS development.On how to strengthen the educational functions of YP group activities,many questions are worth further study,such as construction of different YP groups in urban and rural environment,linking of different courses on ICS and their evaluation under the circumstances of tutor change or schedule modification.This thesis does not deal with the above-mentioned points.Limited in my personal capacity,I do not achieve completely the goal of making an exhaustive or systemic study on the children's ICS development,neither be able of exploring innovative ways for YP group activities.That is why I'm keenly looking forward to exchanging views with others researchers in the future.
