Awakening The Meaning Of Life:Research On The Application Of Logotherapy In The Case Work Of Elderly People Without Family And Living Alone

Pursuing the meaning of life is the main driving force of human beings.The meaning is the guidance of life.Based on the existential philosophy,frankl based on the experience of classical psychoanalysis and proposed the logotherapy according to his experience in the Nazi concentration camp.It focus on the meaning of people's existence and the pursuit of meaning.An elderly person living alone feels lonely,and has no content in life,and encounters setbacks.This requires logotherapy to help them.Logotherapy discovers and searches for the meaning of life by guiding the subject to experience creative value,experiential value and attitude value.The research object of this paper is the elderly who are alone and widowed.Through the case service of providing logotherapy to the client,the problem of the existence of the case is solved.Social workers provide the client with services that recognize the present,life review,and face the next three stages.In these three stages,Frankl's three ways of pursuing the meaning of life are used to pursue and discover the meaning of life by letting the subject experience creative value,experiential value and attitude value.In these three stages,social workers,through interviews with the client,identify the setbacks that the client encountered in pursuing the meaning of life,and guide the client to find the meaning of life by experiencing creative value,experiential value and attitude value.In this paper,the life attitude profile is used to measure the case before and after the service.Through the comparison of the measurement results,it is found that the social worker provides the case with the meaning of treatment to help the case to discover and pursue the meaning of life.The logotherapy is in the treatment of living alone.There is a certain therapeutic effect on the existence of vacant old people.This paper has carried out method innovation research,because the elderly living alone and alone are emptiness obvious,so they are selected as the service target,and the thoughts of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism are applied to the case service of logotherapy through the talks,and the logotherapy is localized try.
