Study On Labour Participation Behavior And Influence Factors Of Urban Young Elderly

With the improvement of social and economic conditions,the continuous improvement of medical standards,and the extension of life expectancy per capita,the proportion of the elderly population in the total population is gradually rising,and the degree of population aging is deepening day by day.At the same time,due to the influence of family planning policy and other reasons,the number of labor force in China has been declining.In this context,China began to implement the policy of active ageing,and proposed expanding the social participation of the elderly,fostering a positive view of ageing,and the continued participation of the elderly in labor is one of the main forms of social participation.Compared with other old people,the newly retired old people have better physical conditions and objective advantages of continuing to participate in labor.To expand the social participation of the old people,the younger old people should be the main group,and should support the younger old people to continue to participate in labor.By investigating and studying the influencing factors of labor participation behavior of urban younger people,this paper puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions to support and encourage urban younger people to continue to participate in labor.This paper mainly uses Maslow's hierarchy of demand theory and human capital theory to lay the theoretical foundation of the study.Sample survey method is adopted to collect sample information by sending questionnaires to the respondents.SPSS software is used to process the collected data.Cross-tabular analysis and chi-square test are used to screen variables.Then a binomial logistic regression model is constructed to explain the influence direction and size of different factors on the labor participation behavior of the urban younger elderly.The research shows that the sex,education level,skill or title,living style,whether children provide financial support,the type of pre-retirement units and monthly pension income of the urban younger elderly have a significant impact on their labor participation behavior.Under the background of the deepening of population aging and the active ageing policy being carried out in China,we should support and encourage the labor participation of the urban younger elderly.Firstly,we should create a favorable environment for young elderly to continue to participate in labor,continue to promote active aging policy,and pay attention to urban empty nest elderly;secondly,we should attach importance to and develop education for the elderly,develop skills training for the younger elderly mainly,and provide guidance for the urban younger elderly to use the Internet platform;thirdly,we should promote the reform of the retirement system,properly improve the pension benefits of retirees,and implement a flexible retirement system.
