Research On Secondary Public Opinion Of Network Emergencies

The development of the Internet provides a good platform for the public to express their opinions and vent their emotions.Especially in the era of new media network,some specific social emergencies often cause extensive discussion among netizens,thus attracting high attention of the society and forming a special form of public opinion.With the rise of network public opinion,network public opinion also comes into being.With the pluralistic network structure and complex netizens,the evolution and trend of public opinion become difficult to control.With the superposition of information and public opinion,a series of secondary topics will appear in many emergencies,which will generate secondary public opinions.Secondary public opinions generally have a great causal relationship with the original public opinions,but secondary public opinions are more complex and have a strong public opinion forcing ability,which brings new difficulties and challenges to the supervision of online public opinions.In recent years,network secondary public opinions have appeared frequently in emergencies,sometimes even more influential than the original public opinions.Some negative secondary public opinions have seriously disrupted the social order and brought great pressure to the supervision of government public opinions.Therefore,in this increasingly complex situation of network public opinion,the research on network secondary public opinion is particularly important.In this paper,secondary public opinions of network emergencies are studied.By selecting the network emergencies with great influence in recent years,case studies,literature analysis and statistical analysis are used to analyze the secondary public opinions of network emergencies based on the theories related to communication and sociology.This paper defines the research topic and scope of this paper by expounding the characteristic types of network emergencies and the related concepts of network public opinion and network secondary public opinion.Through in-depth analysis of the evolution of various events and public opinions,the author focuses on the factors that lead to secondary public opinions,and finds that the formation of secondary public opinions is necessary in connection with the original events and their own attributes,the psychology of netizens,media reports,official handling and response,etc.In the further research,it is found that the secondary public opinions of network emergencies have three major characteristics,namely independence and continuity,derivation and variability,passivity and topicality,which have a positive and negative impact on the society.Finally,according to the causes and characteristics of secondary online public opinions,combined with the actual situation of China's network,targeted strategies and Suggestions are proposed from the official level,the media level and the Internet user level respectively,so as to provide useful reference and exploration for avoiding the negative impact of secondary online public opinions caused by network emergencies.
