The Research On Social Organization Participating In Urban Community Governance

There are many limitations while government providing public services to residents,unable to meet ever more diverse needs.It is necessarily for social organizations to participate in the process of social governance.Meanwhile,the transformation from "unit person" to "community person" and then to"social person",making it possible that social organizations take the place of units and governments to undertake more functions of community management and service at the grass-roots level in cities.Social organizations participating in community governance can not only make themselves flourish,but also play an important role in maintaining social stability,providing public services and promoting the development of science,education,culture and health.However,there're some problems while social organizations participating in community governance.For example,the resources of social organizations are not rich enough and the management system is not perfect enough.This requires us to take a theoretical and empirical approach to strengthen the study of social organizations participating in community governance,focusing on the difficulties they faced,and put forward some targeted and practical countermeasures.There are five chapters in this paper,which systematically study the participation of social organizations in urban community governance.The first chapter is the introduction,including the research background and significance,literature review,research ideas and methods.The second chapter analyses the theoretical basis of community social organizations participating in the process of community governance.It includes the definition of "social organization" and "urban community",the theoretical basis of "government failure" and "market failure",and the specific content,mode and function of community social organizations in the process of community governance.Chapter ? and Chapter ? are case studies,which analyze the basic situation and existing problems of social organizations participating in community governance in the Green Home Community of Olympic Village Street in Chaoyang District.In the fifth chapter,basing on the experience and problems of the Green Home Community,this paper puts forward some development countermeasures and suggestions on how to better play a unique role in community governance of community social organizations.
