In the context of the escalation of India Pakistan confrontation, the regional security issues in South Asia, which focus on Kashmir issue, are frequent.Kashmir issue has been an important factor restricting the peace and development of South Asia, leading to the tense security situation in South Asia. The Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan is the fuse of the security issue in South Asia, while religious contradiction and ethnic estrangement are the "original sin" of the insecurity in South Asia. Therefore,Pakistan and other countries usually need to use external forces to obtain the balance of India, and then maintain their own security.According to the theoretical framework of Barry Buzan's "regional security complex theory",this paper analyzes the core structure system of the South Asia security complex since the Second World War,discusses the security dynamic level of the South Asia security complex at different levels, obtains the existing national security guarantee mode of the South Asia security complex, and finally puts forward to promote the security process of South Asia Strategic thinking.Whether during or after the cold war,the security power of South Asia is mainly at the regional level, focusing on the process of India Pakistan Relations. For more than 70 years, the great powers outside the region and India and Pakistan have been trapped in the "security dilemma of South Asia",which is mainly manifested in the long-term hostility between India and Pakistan.During the cold war,the "South Asia security dilemma" was a combination of India Pakistan hostility and international powers, presenting a complex dual structural feature: at the regional level,it was a long-term and difficult to eliminate contradiction and confrontation between India and Pakistan with unbalanced power;at the global level,it was a cold war between the western group and the Communist group. The cold war and conflicts among international powers have dragged South Asia into the battlefield of the cold war,and created favorable conditions for India and Pakistan, which are enemies of each other, especially Pakistan, which is in a weak position,to compromise between China, the United States,India and the Soviet Union. After the cold war, according to the security complex theory of Paris Buzan, the bipolar structure in South Asia has become a unipolar structure, and India has become a unipolarstructure with "one super independence" in South Asia.Although the polarity of the nuclear structure in the South Asia security complex has changed, the "conflict pattern" of the original balance of power in the South Asia security complex still exists. In order to promote the stability of the security situation in South Asia,it is urgent to establish a "strong security mechanism" through various ways to promote the process of regional security. In terms of territorial sovereignty and security,India Pakistan peace dialogue and China Pakistan border negotiations and other processes have started.Although they are intermittent, they have strong momentum. In terms of regional order,South Asian countries should abandon unilateralism and advocate multilateralism. In terms of regional security cooperation, the international community provides public security products for South Asia.In terms of regional security mechanism,South Asia should actively build a South Asian security community.
