In the process of urbanization,city image is the key link of the city's comprehensive strength.A good city image must rely on the media in the new media environment,diversified communication subjects and rich communication content to enhance the attractiveness of the city image and create a unique city business card.With the rapid development of new media technology,the immediacy and interactivity of using new media to disseminate information has catered to the transformation of communication methods in the context of multiple eras.However,under the perspective of new media,city images have also exposed some in the process of communication.Issues such as homogenization of the city's image,insufficient communication effectiveness,and limited media channels.This article first defines and combs the concepts and theories of the research theme,and analyzes the impact of the new media era on the spread of urban image;second,around the advantages and competitiveness of the city,it condenses the unique city of Xi'an Image positioning;at the same time,analyze the audience's perception of the image positioning of Xi'an in the new media environment.The key chapter of the thesis is the general situation of Xi'an city image communication under the new media environment,as well as related research on the status quo,and summarizes the main problems of Xi'an in the process of using new media to spread the city image.The research object of this topic is the image of Xi'an city under the environment of new media.How to maximize the advantages of the city with new media and successfully build a unique city image of Xi'an;City image communication makes effective optimization strategies.This article uses the literature method to consult a large number of books and papers related to communication and urban image;and finds that the academic research on new media and urban image is relatively mature in both depth and breadth;In addition,a variety of research methods are used to explain the relationship between the new media and the image communication of Xi'an.This article focuses on the perspective of new media communication and through an in-depth analysis of the research objects,it is concluded that Xi'an,as the central city of the country,has fully recognized that new media is an important channel for urban development and promotion at present;The media has also achieved quite good results in disseminating its urban image.For example,the cooperation with Douyin has made Xi'an a well-known "net red city".But the shortcomings also exist.In view of the problems exposed by the image of Xi'an in the new media environment,the paper explores how to enrich the new media from the perspective of media and media,urban ontology,media and government The diversity of the content and methods of Xi'an city image communication creates and disseminates a personalized city image with cultural connotation and recognized by the public.
