With the development of society and urbanization,a large number of young people in rural areas are forced to leave their homes and choose to live in cities. In order to take a place in the new city life, most young couples have been fighting hard in the workplace. They have little time to take care of their families. At the same time, many elderly people in rural areas follow their children into cities, even "drifting"between rural and urban areas, gradually forming the common phenomenon of rural"elderly rovers".The reason why these rural "elderly rovers" want to flow into cities is mostly based on the family life pressure of their children. On the one hand, grandchildren need to be looked after, especially as modern women in our country have changed their roles from traditional housewives to professional women and have no time to take care of their children. In order for their children to receive better education, the elderly have to go to cities to look after grandchildren. On the other hand, the elderly need to be supported by their children. The elderly following their children into the city can greatly save the time for their children to return home to look after, shorten the living distance between the two generations, and facilitate emotional exchange. Therefore, under the new living environment, the "old drifters"will face various old-age care problems. What old-age care needs do they have in the city? Can I enjoy the old-age service in the city?Is there a stable old-age security support? How to integrate their pension resources? This also makes them worry about whether they can stay in the city for a long time to provide for the aged and live in the future, which is worthy of our study on these issues. This research takes the rural "elderly rovers" as the main research object, and adopts the questionnaire survey method and semi-structured interview method to carry out on-the-spot investigation and empirical analysis on the present situation of the urban old-age care of the rural "elderly rovers" in Nanchang city.Through an in-depth analysis of the main causes of the "wandering" for rural "elderly rovers" and the current situation of their old-age care in cities,it is found that the main difficulties of the rural "elderly rovers" in their old-age care in cities are:fragmentation of the basic social security system, lack of necessary economic support, unsatisfied spiritual comfort, and poor physical condition. Then, using the multi-center governance theory, from the perspectives of the state, the community, the family and the individual respectively, the author gives some suggestions for the research and solution of the old-age security problem of the rural "elderly rovers" in the city.As far as the country is concerned,it should continue to strengthen the system construction of providing for the aged and caring for the young. From the perspective of the community,we should pay close attention to the needs of socialization of the rural "elderly rovers".For families, they should actively provide diversified old-age support.Personally,we should gradually strengthen our adaptability to society. Finally, the main bodies gradually unite and cooperate with each other, hoping to gradually solve the pension problem of this vulnerable group, further improve their quality of life, and make the elderly floating population live stably in the city.
