Research On Influencing Factors Of Public Risk Perception Of Social Security Events

Social security incidents are closely related to people's lives,and the social harm they may cause will seriously threaten social stability.In the era of instant social media communication,if the public's perception of risk cannot be effectively managed,it will likely trigger more serious social unrest on top of the harm already done.Therefore,it is particularly important to pay attention to the influencing factors of public risk perception in social security incidents.In view of the above,this article reviews the media society,risk,and risk perception through literature review,according to the social risk amplification framework,the theory of use and satisfaction,and combines the 5W model of communication in Lassville with relevant theoretical models of risk communication.The research method,questionnaire survey method and quantitative analysis method have constructed a structural equation model with information satisfaction,media trust,and negative emotions as independent variables,social media use time and involvement cognition as moderating variables,and risk perception as dependent variables.In order to explore the influencing factors of public risk perception of social security events in the Weibo and WeChat "two micro" fields.The study found that social security events in the "two micro" fields of Weibo and WeChat have a negative correlation between information satisfaction and public risk perception,media trust has a negative correlation with public risk perception,and negative emotions have There is a positive correlation between the public's perception of risk,and social media use time has a positive regulating effect on the relationship between information satisfaction,negative emotions,and risk perception.It is involved in the relationship between perception of media trust and risk perception.Has a positive regulatory effect.Therefore,this paper studies the risk perception from the perspective of the public,and puts forward management recommendations for relevant departments to “create exclusive voices,build public appeal portraits,establish credit lists,and train new-generation opinion leaders”.The research has the following two innovations:(1)One of the main innovations of this research is proposed the influencing factors of public risk perception,and constructed a new risk perception structural equation model.Different In the existing research,the selection of influencing factorsfor public risk perception is mostly independent or scattered.This article combines information satisfaction,media trust,negative emotions and risk perception with the5 W communication model of Lassville,making the research on risk perception In the system's dynamic risk dissemination,from the perspective of the public,attention was paid to interaction and feedback.In addition to the public risk perception factors obtained in this study,the research perspective and model of risk perception have been enriched.(2)Another major innovation of this research is select two fields,Weibo and WeChat,to study the influencing factors of the public's risk perception.Previous research focused on the influencing factors of the public's risk perception.The main aspects are: first,based on the risks in the actual environment,such as the risk perception measurement of the affected people or those who avoid the environment;second,through case studies to analyze the impact of media reports or media dissemination on public risk perception separately.The above two aspects of research ignore the impact that the connection between the public and the media may have on risk perception.In this study,two fields,Weibo and WeChat,were selected to explore the influencing factors of public risk perception,which paid close attention to the risk perception created by the interaction of social media and public initiative.In addition,the research concept of the field is also in line with the constant approach of the real risks and construction risks brought by the current "environmentalization of the mimic environment".
