Research On Influencing Factors Of Public Risk Perception In Earthquake Disaster

The earthquake disaster has the characteristics of sudden,serious damage,common secondary disasters and so on.It seriously threatens the lives and property of the people.How to deal with the earthquake disaster is a problem that the government needs to face urgently.Comprehensive understanding and appropriate assessment of the risks caused by earthquake disaster to the public is the basis for the government to do a good job of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction and to formulate relevant policies,and also the inevitable requirement for the human society to take the road of sustainable development.In the past,the study of earthquake disaster mainly focused on the analysis and prevention of earthquake origin,and there was a lack of in-depth research on the combination of seismic disaster and risk perception.To research on factors that influence the public risk perception in earthquake disaster,a comprehensive understanding of the public risk perception can be obtained,which can enhance the general public awareness of earthquake disaster reduction,promote the necessary risk communication between the government and the public,have special significance for the government to formulate relevant policies,and further enhance the ability of the government and the whole society dealing with the earthquake disaster.On the basis of the existing literature,this paper sorts out and analyzes the related research results of earthquake disaster and risk perception,and puts forward the theoretical model and research hypothesis that affect the public risk perception of earthquake disaster.Use questionnaire to obtain empirical data to measure the public perception of risk scientifically,then quantitative analysis from two aspects of risk perception in individual level and social level to verify the research hypothesis,and finally get the influencing factors of public risk perception in earthquake disaster.Found through research,education,housing type and structure and the disaster experience have a significant impact on the public perception of risk,the three dimensions of familiarity,control and trust are negatively related to public perception of risk,and closeness is positively related to public perception of risk.Finally,the paper summarizes and analyzes the research,strengthen the public awareness,put forward the suggestions and countermeasures on the earthquake disaster emergency management,and provide a useful reference for the government to formulate relevant policies for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
