Rural governance is an important part of the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity,which affects the living standards of the people and the social stability of the countryside.In the current process of rural governance,social morality decline,lack of collective identity,insufficient cohesion,and low degree of autonomy have plagued the improvement of rural governance quality.How to make use of the existing rural resources and improve the level of rural governance is a problem that China's rural governance needs to solve at present.Folk sports,as a product within the village,has always been an emotional bond that strengthens the cohesion of the people and maintains the relationship between the local people in the traditional society.Faced with many problems in rural society,whether this force can once again become a new resource to serve the village and help the village "good governance" is worthy of further investigation.This article mainly uses the "governance theory" and "cultural capital theory",based on the literature review,using logical analysis and field survey methods,on the premise of demonstrating the relevance of folk sports and rural governance,the selection of Tujia Shemi in western Hubei The "swinging dance" in Lake Village is a case study.After a"deep description" of the living landscape of Shemihu Village and the organization of waving and dancing dances in Shemihu Village,the role of folk sports waving dance in rural governance was discussed in depth.And put forward suggestions on how to give full play to the role of folk sports in rural governance.It is hoped that this study can provide theoretical support and practical guidance for rural governance in areas where folk sports resources are abundant,and promote the inheritance and development of folk sports.The article consists of seven sections.The first part introduces the research background and significance of this article,describes the research status of "folk custom sports" and "rural governance",and explains the research methods.The second part elaborates the concepts of "folklore sports" and "rural governance" and explains the theoretical basis of this article-"governance theory" and "cultural capital theory".The third part demonstrates the relationship between folk sports and rural governance.The fourth part "deeply describes" the living landscape of the case of Shemihu Village,as well as the action content,ritual process,activity motivation,and leaders and planning methods of the hand-dancing organization.The fifth part focuses on the role of waving hand dance in the political,economic,social,cultural,and ecological aspects of Shemihu Village.The sixth part draws a case inspiration:folk sports uses the fields constructed by rituals and organizations to shape the individual's physical behavior and ideological cognition,thereby producing a village governance effect.In order to better play the role of folk sports in rural governance,it is necessary to expand the living space of folk sports,reconstruct the contemporary value of follk sports,mobilize the cultivation of folk sports talents,and strengthen the support of folk sports organizations.Section ? summarizes the paper.
