Research On The Participation Of Social Organizations In The Aid For Families Without Their Only Children

In the late 1970 s,China began to implement the family planning policy.Under the call of national policy,the family structure of our country has changed,and a large number of only child families appear.There are unexpected events in the sky and misfortunes in the day.Since the death of the only child,the only child families have become families without their only child.The families who lost their only child are faced with many difficulties,such as mental attack,financial difficulties,difficulties in providing for the aged,lack of medical care,and the need to support the third generation left behind by their children.They have become a special vulnerable group in today's society.A series of problems of the families without only child can not be solved properly,which will greatly reduce their happiness index,and also become an important influencing factor on the road of building a socialist harmonious society in China.Since the reform and opening up,China's Social organizations,adhering to the characteristics of mutual assistance,reciprocity,altruism and the spirit of public welfare,have actively participated in various social assistance activities,and also played a great role in helping the families without only child.This paper takes the organization in the aid for families without their only children in Z city as the research theme.Through on-the-spot investigation and interviews with the members of the association,this paper discusses in detail the current situation and existing problems of the association's assistance to the families who lost their only child,and puts forward some solutions to the problems.The current assistance measures of the association include: regularly organizing activities to provide spiritual comfort;uniting social forces to provide health services;expanding the content of assistance and caring for the third generation of children.Its assistance activities have achieved certain results and achieved the goals of the organization to a certain extent,but there are also some problems: first,the method and content of the rescue are single;second,the effectiveness of the rescue is poor;third,the influence of the organization is small.Therefore,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems in detail from three aspects: limited ability,insufficient credibility and insufficient government support.Finally,in view of the problems,this paper puts forward specific and feasible countermeasures from three aspects: strengthening the construction of organizational capacity,enhancing the credibility of the organization,and increasing the support of the government.The research can play an active role in promoting the healthy development of social organization,helping families without their only child to get better assistance,making up for the deficiency of the government in providing assistance to families without their only child,and building a harmonious society.
