As a civil servant with government public power,the working environment is special,the work content is complex,and there is a certain degree of administrative discretion,so it is relatively difficult to evaluate the performance of civil servants.With the concept of "engagement" being defined by western researchers,employee performance and organizational performance have been well presented.In this paper,by combing and studying the existing research at home and abroad,and taking 196 grass-roots government civil servants as the research sample,this paper initially explores the internal dimensions of civil servants' engagement in China and its influencing factors.In the form of a survey questionnaire,the research on the engagement of civil servants at the basic levle in S District,Hangzhou City,Zhejiang Province.The SPSS software was used to analyze the data of the questionnaire.The reliability and validity test,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to determine Conclusions:(1)The level of professional engagement of grass-roots civil servants in S District,Hangzhou City,Zhejiang Province is generally on the upper side.(2)Some factors in demographic characteristics have an impact on professional engagement.The level of education and working age has a significant impact on overall engagement.(3)The job feature model is moderately related to the degree of engagement.The four major elements in the job feature model(job importance,job autonomy,and job feedback)are significantly related to engagement,and the correlation between skill diversity and engagement is weak.(4)Organization Support,organizational fairness,and engagement are moderately related,and the intrinsic dimensions(fairness of distribution,fairness of procedures,support from superiors,support from colleagues)are all related to engagement.(5)Self-management is associated with moderate professionalism.In terms of specific dimensions,self-cognition and engagement are strongly correlated,while self-planning and self-motivation are weakly correlated with engagement.Based on the conclusions of the study,this article puts forward some suggestions to improve the civil servants 'engagement,including creating a fair and good organizational environment;civil servants to improve their self-management level;adopting a scientific and reasonable system,enhancing the civil servants' engagement,and improving the training system to strengthen the management.
