A Study On The Construction Of Rural Image In People's Daily Considering The Rural Revitalization Strategy

Since the Rural Revitalization Strategy was put forward,the party and the country have paid more attention to the rural issue to a new height.A series of policies to benefit the countryside have been introduced,and great changes have taken place in the political,economic,cultural,and ecological aspects of the village.As an organ newspaper of the Central Party newspaper,People's Daily is also the most influential and authoritative newspaper in China,It has responsibility to convey policies and guide public opinion,the rural image constructed by it has certain authority and representativeness,which affects the audience's attitudes and views on the village.People's Daily showed the characteristics when reporting on villages under the Rural Revitalization Strategy: the use of communication to describe details,the layout is diverse and slightly concentrated,and the use of pictures is more vivid in terms of reporting format;the political and economic field and the western region is the focus of reporting,and positive publicity is the keynote of the report in terms of reporting content.People's Daily has constructed a rural image through rural reports that combines policies to improve people's livelihood,structural optimization to help development,the beginning of cultural prosperity,and the improvement of human settlements and natural environment.Through comparison with the rural image during the period of new rural construction,it found more presents an image of a country with an optimized industrial structure,outstanding achievements in poverty alleviation,effective governance,civilized civilization,and ecological livability in the new period.We can find that People's Daily is affected by factors such as political environment(policy adjustment,the nature of the newspaper),social environment(rural reality environment,public power),and media environment(media technology development,media non-horizontal effect)in the construction through research.The rural image constructed by People's Daily is based on the actual situation,but it is still different from the actual image.In order to construct a better rural image,People'Daily should constructs a diverse rural image,responds to the needs of the audience,and builds a more three-dimensional rural image.
