Research On Government Behavior In The Construction Of Characteristic Towns In Xianyou County

Constructing a characteristic town is a strategic choice to promote supply-side structural reform and new type of urbanization under the new economic normal.It is also an effective path to promote mass entrepreneurship innovation and accelerate regional innovation and development,and is conducive to accelerating high-end factor agglomeration,industrial transformation and upgrading,and history cultural heritage.Local governments play an important role in the construction of characteristic small towns,and the government's behavior will have a significant influence on its development.In recent years,Xianyou County has focused on the construction of three characteristic small towns: Bangtou,Duwei,and Fengting,as well as places of worship and Buddhist culture.Xianyou County has simultaneously promoted the construction of Laidian Antique Town,Licheng Provincial Opera Cultural Characteristic Town,Caixi Heart Town,and Xiyuan Water Town.This paper takes characteristic towns construction of the government behavior in Xianyou County as the research object,and uses the theory of public goods supply,the theory of "market failure" and government behavior theory as the theoretical basis.It adopts the literature research method,case analysis method.Based on the research results of scholars at home and abroad in the fields of characteristic town construction and government support behavior,combined with the development status of characteristic towns in Xianyou County,the relationship between the development of characteristic towns in Xianyou County and government behavior was demonstrated,and analysis was conducted.Based on the current state of government behavior in the construction of characteristic towns in Xianyou County in recent years,it is pointed out that due to inadequate management systems,unchanged governance concepts,and imperfect public service mechanisms,there are some problems such as insufficient talent cultivation,related infrastructureconstruction delays,lack of deep exploration of characteristic culture and weak sharing of resources in related government support.And based on the existing problems and drawing on the development experience of domestic characteristic towns,suggestions for promoting the development of characteristic towns were put forward from four aspects: improving the management system,improving the service system,building a comprehensive talent system,highlighting promoting the characteristics of the industrial characteristics and creating a characteristic culture.It is hoped that these suggestions can provide reference for the Xianyou County government to better promote the development of characteristic towns.
