With the increasing aging trend,the demand for learning and education of the elderly is also increasing.At present,the university for the aged is the main formal education model,but it is difficult to find a university for the aged,and it is difficult to meet the diversified learning needs of the aged.As an important part of community education,community education for the elderly provides learning and education activities for the elderly with community resources.It has become a form of education beyond universities for the elderly and can meet the learning needs of more people.But the unit community has the unique advantage,the elderly education resources are rich and concentrated,is more conducive to the development of community education for the elderly.Therefore,from the practice,to understand the problems existing in the educational activities for the elderly in the community of unit type,from the perspective of social work to study the appropriate intervention ideas and methods,to further achieve the development goals.This article takes the W-unit community as an example,based on the activity theory,advantage perspective theory,and lifelong education theory,using questionnaires,observations and interviews,and other research methods,using group social work professional methods to intervene to solve this problem.The aim is to solve the problems in the educational activities for the elderly in unit-typed community,and explore the effectiveness of group social work methods in promoting united community elderly education.Through the investigation of the current situation,it is found that there are contradictions between simplification of activity content forms and diversified learning needs,and conflicts between high participation willingness and low actual participation.Based on this,the group social work method is used to intervene in these two problems of community elderly education in order to increase the participation of the elderly in the community and meet the diverse learning needs of the elderly.On the one hand,integrate community resources,make use of the community's human,material and financial resources to carry out rich learning activities,provide learning content that is informative and practical,and enhance the learning interest of the elderly;change the single form of education,The combination of teachers' teaching and the form of independent and mutual aid education mobilizes the enthusiasm of the elderly to meet the diverse learning needs of the elderly.On the other hand,tapping the personal advantages and abilities of the elderly in the community,and developing the group into a more standardized learning group on the basis of changing the way of education,initially establishing a learning carrier for self-education and service,motivating the elderly to further improve Participation of older people in the community.After the evaluation of the effect of setting up educational activities for the elderly in the community,the effect of social workers' service and the group members themselves,the elderly are basically satisfied with the content and form of study,the social workers' service and their own performance,it can meet the diverse learning needs of the group members and improve their participation,so it can be preliminarily judged that the group work intervention in the unit-type community educational activities for the elderly has a certain effect.Finally,according to the research results and experience,three suggestions are put forward: First,we should give full play to the advantages and capabilities of the service targets,and second,we should set up professional service teams,third,we should integrate group work into community education for the elderly and establish a continuous and systematic community education platform for the elderly,so as to provide some experience for the same type of community education for the elderly.
