Research On The Role Of Government In Developing Headquarters Economy In Guangzhou

In recent years,in order to promote the development of economy,more and more central city in our country have devoted themselves to the cultivation of headquarters economy aiming at giving impetus to the coordinated growth of regional economy.In essence,the development of headquarters economy can be deemed as both the initiative concentration of corporates in pursuit of allocating resources in a better and the result of investment promotion.What is more,as one of the cites which do best in the development of headquarters' economy,Guangzhou city has made great progress in cultivation of headquarters economy owing to better economic basis,geographic location,and preferential policies.In particular,the government has playing an important role in the development of headquarters economy of Guangzhou city.Under the circumstance,researching the government's function in the development of headquarters economy of Guangzhou city will not only make contribution to promoting the development of headquarters' economy,but also set an example for other cities in our country.This paper firstly introduces the theoretical basis about headquarters economy and government's function,and then states the development situation of headquarters economy in Guangzhou city as well as the government's role.In addition,this paper pays much attention to analyzing the government's problems during the process of promoting the development of headquarters' economy,and some available advice is put forwards at last.Moreover,based on the analysis above some conclusions are drawn as follows.On the one hand,although the headquarters economy in Guangzhou city kept stable development during the past years no one can deny that there is indeed a gap among Guangzhou city and other cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.On the other hand,the government of Guangzhou city exerts a positive influence on the development of headquarters economy by virtue of the implementation of stimulation,regulation and guidance measures.Meanwhile,at present the problems of the government of Guangzhou city mainly lie in lower policy support,the lack of guidance to corporates' research and development investment and scientific and technological innovation,undue market intervention and unreasonable execution of supporting policies and measures.Eventually,in order to promote the development of headquarters economy in a better way We Suggest that the government of Guangzhou city ought to remedy its defects mentioned above.
