A Study On The Political Identity Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers In The New Media Environment

Political identity is the recognition of self-political identity and emotional and psychological belonging to the political system produced by political subjects in social and political life,as well as the active activities of political subjects to actively participate in and support the political system based on the needs of identity and interests.Migrant workers in China's social transformation period appeared a special group,and into the new century,to 80,90,even after the representative of the new generation of migrant workers gradually become the main force of migrant workers groups,has reached hundreds of millions of people,The political identity of this large special group has a great impact on china's social stability and policy implementation.And the new media,the new media,all aspects of social life because of its changes,political life is also among its influence.In this regard,this paper takes the new generation of migrant workers working in Chengdu electronic factory as the research object,and discusses their political identity in the new media environment,focusing on the related issues of political identity and combining the environment of the new media.Through the literature combing research,coupled with the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey,it is found that the political identity status of the new generation of migrant workers in Chengdu electronic factory has some effect: the awareness of political interest identification is raised,the national system has a higher degree of identification,and the mainstream political values have a higher degree of identification.At the same time,from the four dimensions of identity,interest identity,institutional identity and value identity,we also find some problems in the new generation of migrant workers' political identity in the new media environment: vague identity,low sense of urban integration,increased sense of political participation but fewer opportunities for political participation,low-level and practical orientation of political value orientation,difficulty in obtaining effective political information in new media,etc.Through a comprehensive analysis of the current situation,it is found that the causes of these problems are likely to come from the following aspects: political and cultural influence by traditional ideas and pluralistic values;On the one hand,the rare effect series of political participation is not obvious,and the development of new media has brought about a series of adverse effects,such as the digital divide leading to uneven access to information,the dissemination of content is uneven.For these reasons,this paper,based on the analysis,can be from the following aspects to improve the political identity of the new generation of migrant workers: first of all,strengthen ideological construction,improve the political and cultural quality of the new generation of migrant workers;We should once again attach importance to the political rights of the new generation of migrant workers and improve the political participation system of the new generation of migrant workers,establish the protection organization of the rights and interests of the new generation of migrant workers,and finally strengthen the construction of new media political functions to standardize the dissemination of new media information,purify the network environment,build a new media propaganda platform,and strengthen the guidance of public opinion.
