The 1950 s and 1960 s were an era of cooperation and confrontation,of danger and opportunity. As two major powers in the socialist camp at that time, the adjustment of the diplomatic strategies of China and the Soviet union not only had a significant impact on the international communist movement, but also had a certain impact on the world situation at that time.In the early days of the People's Republic of China, new China established the basic framework of its foreign strategy through the diplomatic strategy of "cleaning the house and treating guests","starting from scratch" and "one-sided".During the Khrushchev administration, due to the increase of China's national strength, the continuous deterioration of sino-american relations, and the rise of the third world,China's diplomatic strategy underwent a major adjustment, from "one-sided" to "two-fisted"--both anti-soviet and anti-american foreign strategy. After the Soviet union in Khrushchev's ruling to adjust diplomatic strategy: first, put forward the new ideas and views on war era and Khrushchev think now is the era of the nuclear age,the dangers of war is devastating,as the growth of the socialist power peace factors such as,war is no longer the theme of The Times,to seek the world peace is a real possibility,so trying to ease relations with the United States and other western countries;Secondly, the "three harmonies" route is put forward, which is discussed in detail from the three aspects of "peaceful coexistence","peaceful competition" and "peaceful transition".Thirdly, reconsidering the internal relations of the socialist camp, the attitude towards the countries within the camp tends to be equal to some extent.Although it often shows the mentality of great power,it is more equal than Stalin's attitude towards the countries within the socialist camp.Through the comparative analysis of the diplomatic strategic thoughts of the two countries in this period,we can not only better grasp the internal logic of the diplomatic theory and practice of the new China on the basis of previous studies, but also draw some experience and lessons from the comparison,so as to provide a certain point of view and method reference for the formulation of China's foreign policy in the new era.In addition to the introduction, the main body of this paper is divided into five chapters,as follows:In the introduction, the purpose and significance of the topic are briefly introduced. Then, the research on MAO zedong's diplomatic thoughts and Khrushchev's ideas by experts and scholars at home and abroad in recent years is generally sorted out.The first chapter is divided into four parts: first, the connotation of the diplomatic strategy to identify the concept of diplomatic strategy;Secondly,it briefly introduces Stalin's diplomatic strategy after world war ii.During this period,Stalin's diplomatic strategy changed from alliance and cooperation to cold war cooperation and low-intensity confrontation.Third,it summarizes China's diplomatic strategy in the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Finally, this paper summarizes the sino-soviet relations during Stalin's reign from three aspects: politics, economy and culture. The second chapter is divided into three parts: first, the paper introduces the Khrushchev's ruling period(1953 ~ 1964)[Stalin's death, the Soviet union in a short period,to the stoppage of internal during this period of time is shorter, and at this stage of the Soviet union diplomatic and ease after Khrushchev's governing foreign similar,so will the brief period is also included in the diplomatic Khrushchev period.]China's foreign strategy. In the early period of Khrushchev's administration,China still adhered to the "one-sided" diplomatic strategy and highlighted the characteristics of independent diplomacy. At this stage,China also advocated the diplomatic concept of peaceful coexistence.By the late 1950 s sino-soviet relations began to crack, and China's diplomatic strategy began to change.By the 1960 s,in the face of the threat from the United States, the deterioration of sino-soviet relations, and the rise of the third world countries,China's diplomacy gradually changed to an "anti-soviet" diplomatic strategy, and later developed into a "two-fisted" diplomatic strategy, which was both anti-soviet and anti-american.At this time,in order to break through the diplomatic containment of the United States and the Soviet union,China further strengthened its relations with countries in Asia,Africa and Latin America.Secondly, the paper analyzes the specific reasons for the change of China's diplomatic strategy in this period from two aspects:the international situation and the change of national interest view. Finally, the paper summarizes the results of the change of China's diplomatic strategy in this period from positive and negative aspects. The third chapter is divided into three parts: first,it introduces Khrushchev's newexploration of the Soviet union's diplomatic strategy.Secondly, the reasons for Khrushchev's adjustment of diplomatic strategy are analyzed from domestic and foreign perspectives. Finally, the objective results brought by its diplomatic strategy are summarized.Chapter four is the key part of this paper.First,it summarizes the consistency of the diplomatic strategies between China and the Soviet union during the Khrushchev administration.Secondly,it points out the differences of diplomatic strategies between China and the Soviet union during Khrushchev's reign.Thirdly, the objective results of the similarity of diplomatic strategies between China and the Soviet union during Khrushchev's reign are analyzed. Finally, the objective results of the differences in the diplomatic strategies of the two countries are analyzed. The fifth chapter is divided into three parts: based on the analysis of the similarities and differences between the two countries' diplomatic strategies, the author concludes the experience and enlightenment of establishing a scientific concept of national interests, adhering to the independent diplomatic line of peace, formulating diplomatic strategies based on the international and domestic situations, combining theory with practice, and carrying out diplomatic work in a practical way. This paper attempts to make some contribution to the development of China's foreign relations theory by analyzing the similarities and differences between the two countries' diplomatic strategies and their influences in this special history.
