Social Organization Embedding Of Multi-village Merger Resettlement Community Governance

The multi-village merger resettlement community is a new community formed by multiple villages(communities)being completely or partly demolished and relocated in the same area during urbanization.As a special form of transitional suburban community,with its special governance environment,complex population structure,and mixed organizational system,it has created unique community governance issues.It is difficult to effectively assist community governance by adopting conventional social organization intervention methods,and the "embedding" advocated by Granovette is more effective in the governance of multi-village merger resettlement complex communities.In recent years,Yijiangnan Social Work Evaluation and Development Center has obtained referendum projects through the government's purchase of services.It has provided embedded services in the multi-village merger resettlement community,Xinnan County Community,and has accumulated certain experiences and lessons.The thesis uses the embedded theory as a tool and uses a case study method to investigate the embedded actions of the Yijiangnan Social Work Evaluation and Development Center in the community governance of Xinnan County,Xiaoshan District.First,it demonstrates the significance of the research on the embedded of social organizations into multi-village merger resettlement-type community governance.It is not only helpful to enrich the research of social organizations embed in community governance,but also to enhance the effectiveness of new community governance.It also explains the research methods of the thesis and community case selection in Xinnan County.Secondly,the value and conditions of multi-village merger resettlement community governance social organizations are analyzed.The special governance environment and important governance issues faced by multi-village merger resettlement communities present the special value and necessity of the social organizations embed.The embedded resources owned by multi-village merger resettlement communities,the capacity of social organizations,and the support ofgovernment departments have created important conditions for social organizations to embed community governance.Thirdly,the main actions of social organizations embedded in multi-village merger resettlement community governance are preliminarily examined.Specifically,it describes the embedded actions of social organizations to help the construction of community party organizations,promote the participation of community residents,and guide the behavior of community residents.Fourth,multi-dimensional evaluation of the embedded performance of social organizations in multi-village merger resettlement community governance.It is pointed out that the embedded action of social organizations has formed a certain effect and influence,but the embedded depth is insufficient and needs to be improved.It also further reveals the important limitations of social organizations,such as the limited ability to embed subjects,the administrative dependence of the embedded process and the community's coping,insufficient service provision of embedded content,insufficient professionalism,and insufficient targetedness.Fifth,a series of important strategies for improving the embedding of social organizations into community governance are proposed.In particular,it is necessary to improve the embedded capacity of social organizations,expand the embedded resources of social organizations,and improve the embedded process of social organizations.Studies have shown that the embedding of social organizations has increased the vitality of community governance.The evaluation of embedding effects should be comprehensive and long-term.Embedding is a rational choice for social organizations to coordinate community governance.
