The Influence Of Idol Worship On Youth Values

As a popular phenomenon in society,idol worship has already penetrated into all areas of social life,and it has a subtle influence on the values of contemporary society in China,and has a greater impact on people's ideology,value orientation and behavior.The impact,especially on contemporary teenagers,is the most intense and extensive.Teenagers are in the golden age of life,with a certain knowledge base and life accumulation,but the world outlook,outlook on life,and values have not yet been fully formed.The tide of idol worship makes young people irrational and difficult to judge in the face of this turbulent,complicated and diverse value.Active and healthy idol worship plays an important role in the formation and development of young people's values,but some young people have shown some undesirable phenomena.Therefore,the research on the influence of idol worship on youth values and countermeasures will have great theoretical and practical significance,and it is a subject that ideological and political educators must pay attention to.This article is based on ideological and political education,taking idol worship as the base point,and youth values as the main research object.It is divided into four parts.First,it defines and classifies the idol worship and values.Secondly,based on interview research with somefans of Jay Chou,it shows that idol worship is a double-edged sword,which can bring positive and negative impacts on youth values.Then,by analyzing and summarizing the results of some interviews in the previous chapter,the mechanism of the role of idol worship influencing young people's values was analyzed from three aspects: psychological mechanism,transmission mechanism,and mass media.Finally,based on the principle of using the positive factors of idol worship and circumventing its negative factors,from the perspective of the optimization of idol modeling,education of young people,and management of mass media,it is proposed to play under the ideological and political education I Like the method of guiding the value of worship.
